| Fire Instruction Notice | ||
| 1. On discovering a fire immediately raise the alarm by operating the nearest fire alarm actuating point! | ||
| 2. On hearing the fire alarm leave the building by the nearest available exit and report to the assembly point at the front of the Community Centre! | ||
| 3. Do not collect personal belongings! | ||
| 4. Do not re-enter the building! | ||
| Basic Food Hygiene for all Users of the Kitchen | ||
| 1. No smoking in the kitchen area (or anywhere in the Community Centre). | ||
| 2. Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently in the wash basin provided. | ||
| 3. Wear appropriate hygiene clothing such as apron, gloves, headgear. | ||
| 4. When food is being prepared only food handlers are allowed in the kitchen. | ||
| 5. Keep all food covered until serving. | ||
| 6. Food cooked on the premises should be checked to ensure appropriate temperatures have been achieved. | ||
| 7. Serve the food via the hatch if possible. | ||
| 8. Keep cold food chilled in the fridge until service. | ||
| 9. Eat cold food within four hours of service. | ||
| 10. Food handlers should store all personal items, bags etc in the locker provided. Clothing should be stored in the cloak room. | ||
| 11. At the end of the kitchen use: | ||
| ensure food subject to the hiring is removed from the fridge and wipe with a clean damp cloth; |
||
| wipe all surfaces with a clean damp cloth; | ||
| remove all rubbish to the bin outside the front door. | ||
